Using Obriy

Obriy helps you plan, save, track, import, export, and review hiking routes. You are responsible for how you use the app and for complying with applicable laws, trail rules, land access rules, and safety guidance.

Outdoor safety

Obriy is a planning and navigation aid, not a guarantee of safety, route accuracy, trail availability, weather conditions, terrain conditions, or emergency assistance.

Maps, routes, trails, elevation data, search results, estimated hiking times, offline data, and GPS readings can be incomplete, delayed, inaccurate, or unavailable. Always use your judgment, carry appropriate equipment, and be prepared to navigate without the app.

Your content and files

You are responsible for the routes, waypoints, notes, tags, GPX files, recordings, and other content you create, import, export, or share with Obriy.

Do not use Obriy to store, import, export, or share content that you do not have the right to use or that violates laws or the rights of others.

Obriy name, logo, and assets

The Obriy name, logo, app icon, screenshots, website design, text, graphics, and other Obriy brand or product assets are owned by Obriy or its licensors.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, include in other products, or use these assets for marketing, commercial, legal, or public-facing materials without prior written permission or a separate written license, except where allowed by law.

Subscriptions and premium features

Some Obriy features may require a paid subscription or purchase. Purchases, renewals, cancellations, refunds, and payment details are handled by Apple through the App Store.

Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled according to Apple's subscription rules. Premium features may change over time.

Third-party services

Obriy uses third-party services including Apple services for iCloud sync and purchases, Mapbox for maps and related map features, TelemetryDeck for analytics, and Sentry for diagnostics.

Those services may be governed by their own terms, privacy policies, availability, and technical limits.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse Obriy, interfere with the app or website, attempt to bypass technical limits, abuse network-backed services, reverse engineer the app except where allowed by law, or use Obriy in a way that harms other people, services, or systems.

Availability and changes

Obriy may change, suspend, or discontinue features, pricing, limits, third-party integrations, or website content at any time. Some features depend on network access, device permissions, Apple services, Mapbox services, or App Store availability.

No warranties

Obriy is provided as is and as available. To the fullest extent allowed by law, Obriy makes no warranties about accuracy, reliability, availability, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted operation.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Obriy is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for losses related to routes, navigation, location accuracy, outdoor conditions, data loss, service interruptions, or third-party services.
